DAY 1 - LIVINGSTONE - VICTORIA FALLS
You will be met off your flight into Livingstone, Zambia and driven to the nearby Sussi Lodge, situated on the northern edge of the Mosi Oa Tunya National Park. This small parks name comes from the people who have lived here for eons and means “Smoke Which Thunders”, as it is situated next to the mighty Victoria Falls. This is one of the few places you can see the rare white Rhino. You may also see Giraffe, Buffalo, Zebra, Sable, Eland, Wildebeest and migrating Elephants, often wallowing in shallow pools near the banks of the Zambezi River.

Sussi Lodge is a luxury lodge set on a sweeping bend of the Zambezi River, just 10 minutes upstream from the falls themselves. Guest accommodations consist of 10 luxury tree-houses, built into the living canopy of giant ebony trees lining the bank. Each unit has a private view of the Zambezi from its own deck set among the branches. The main lodge building features a spectacular raised bar and lounge deck, open air dining area, swimming pool and lawns sweeping down to the water’s edge where resident wildlife, such as hippopotamus and elephant often wander through on their way in and out of the park.

After lunch, you may depart on an afternoon game drive in the park, go for a swim, even try your hand at fishing, or relax on your deck watching the river with a cool drink. Dinner is served in the dining area or under the stars next to the bonfire.
Overnight - Sussi Lodge (lunch & dinner, game drive)

DAY 2 - LIVINGSTONE - VICTORIA FALLS
This morning after breakfast you will depart on an early morning game drive into the Park, returning for lunch. After lunch it’s time to go visit the falls with your guide accompanying you. After your visit to the falls you will be driven to the dock to board your boat for a sunset cruise up the Zambezi. After the cruise you will be met and returned back to the lodge for dinner under the stars. Overnight - Sussi Lodge (all meals & activities)

DAY 3 - LOWER ZAMBEZI NATIONAL PARK
This morning you will depart on a private charter flight to the magnificent Lower Zambezi National Park. The Lower Zambezi National Park is Zambia’s newest wildlife reserve. This remote park lies in the Lower Zambezi Valley between the rolling hills of the hazy escarpment and the Zambezi River. Part of the park is sprinkled with reed islands, which provide refuge and food for many of the animals here. These waters are a focal point for Elephant, Hippo, Buffalo, Zebra, Lion, Leopard, various antelope species, plus Baboon, Vervet Monkeys and an amazing array of birds. Activities include day and night game drives, walking excursions, fishing, canoeing and boating safaris, which bring you very close to the elephants along the banks or the Zambezi and to the hippos and croc’s in the water.

Your stay here will be at the isolated Kulefu Tented Camp set on the wildest stretch of the Zambezi river. The camp only has 8 spacious tents set on raised teak decking at the river’s edge, with twin beds, mosquito nets, en-suite facilities, solar heated water and a private veranda. The camp is organized for boat and land-based wildlife viewing, with all the civilized comforts - an African fantasy under canvas.

DAY 6 - SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK
This morning after an breakfast depart by private charter for your flight to Mfuwe. When you land in Mfuwe you will be met by a staff member of the Chichele Presidential Safari Lodge and driven through the park to your home base for the next two days. The drive takes approximately 1 hour through what experts have called one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries in the world, not surprisingly since the concentrations of game around the Luangwa River and its ox-bow lagoons are dramatic. In addition the topography of the area makes it ideal for walking safaris, allowing guests to explore the river and its tributaries in the care of an experienced guide. The Park is also noted for its big game species particularly Leopard, Lion and Elephant and a whole host of antelope species.

Your stay here will be at the Chichele Presidential Safari Lodge, formerly a private Presidential retreat, Chichele (pronounce to rhyme with belly) occupies one of the most breathtaking sites in the entire park. In order to exploit the wonderful floodplain vistas offered by the site, 10 elegant Victorian style lodges are built along the edge of the hillside, each giving guests a private panoramic view. Quality furnishings and 5 star service make this truly one of the top safari lodges on the continent.

Today after lunch you will set out on a short guided walk in the park returning in the afternoon with time to relax, or take a swim, before departing on a night game drive to spot some of the nocturnal animals, like the leopard and spotted hyena.
